REQUIRED SKILLS

The ideal candidate will work to conceptualize and deliver a cohesive brand experience to various products, advertising and marketing campaigns. This role as “advertising customer service coordinator” also requires a background in visual design & communication skills to ensure the success of each project. This individual needs to be ready to be methodological in his or her deliverables and construct well-planned digital experiences and marketing materials. 

MAJOR DUTIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Photography, videography, video editing and motion graphics skills a plus
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Works independently with minimal guidance
  • Possess strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, work in pressure atmosphere
  • Be punctual, dedicated and have the desire to learn & grow with the Company
  • Some college is preferred with job experience in marketing and sales
  • Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge with proficiency in database management and processing

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell ads for publications.
  • Perform cold calling to get the attention of possible clients.
  • Read scripts.
  • Visit businesses to inquire about advertising sales.
  • Sell ad space or time.
  • Build relationships with clients.
  • Understand the needs of each client.
  • Know all advertising options.
  • Keep abreast of changes within the publication's demographics.
  • Use statistics in sales pitch.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have 2 years of advertising sales experience.

  • Candidate must have proven sales record, be self-motivated, highly organized, possess professional cold calling and telephone etiquette.
  • Candidate will be able to build new accounts; this person will report directly to the Publisher.

PR Marketing & Publishing, LLC & PR Luxury Media, a division of reviewit Magazine & Flair, is currently seeking someone anxious to gain real-world magazine experience and perform a variety of marketing, clerical and administrative tasks. The hands-on experience will foster new knowledge and understanding in this energetic, active industry.

This person needs to be able to handle assignments that include, but not limited, to the prepress and postpress production of the publications, such as out-sourcing stock photography, managing multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram, conducting social media related research & research projects, doing preliminary research for editorial, organizing & updating files, assisting production with photo shoots, proofreading sections of the magazines, and other marketing related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15-20 hours a week (Flexible with schedule)
  • Computer Knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Abode Creative Suite, with an emphasis in Photoshop InDesign
  • Reliable and resourceful
  • Licensed driver with own transportation

Our editorials focus on beauty, dining, entertainment, fashion, home, and every day trends. This person will get real-life experience in magazine production by working with our editors and creative team. Previous writing experience is preferred with background reporting and research skills. Accuracy, proofreading, and attention to detail are essential skills to demonstrate & possess.

This person needs to be able to handle assignments that include, but are not limited, to the prepress and postpress production of the publications and be able to handle multiple deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15-20 hours a week ( Flexible with schedule)
  • Computer Knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Abode Creative Suite
  • Reliable and resourceful
  • Licensed driver with own transportation
  • Current student enrolled at a college or university
